It's official
I am getting my tonsils out...I'm so freaking scared. I've never had a surgery that I can remember and the thought of getting an IV in is terrifying. It's scheduled for the very beginning of summer so I'll have a lot of time to recover. As of now I'm just on antibiotics to hopefully help my tonsils until the surgery. Definitely not what I wanted to hear from the doctors but I am happy to finally have a solution for the pain. On a brighter note, I'm back in boone! Being home for an extended period of time is a lot to handle having little sisters so I know being home for the recovery of this surgery is going to be an experience in its self.

Aw sorry you have to have surgery! I hope it goes as smoothly and painlessly as possible! And don't worry, IVs really aren't nearly as bad as your brain makes them out to be, you will barely notice it! (Plus what they give ya in the IV offsets the scariness ;)
ReplyDeleteso sorry you have to get surgery! It'll be good in the long run so that you're not sick anymore! I still have my tonsils in, but I have had two other surgeries. It's nerve racking but it'll be okay!
